São Paulo, February 22, 2022. Agi announces the creation of the Risk Committee, which brings the institution to a new level of maturity regarding risk management, and the appointment of Alan de Genaro as Independent Member. The new member will have the roles of organizing the risk committee and working in the relationship with regulatory authorities.
De Genaro is an associate professor of Finance at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and President of BNDES’s Risk Committee. Furthermore, he was an assistant professor of Economy at Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and has a post-doctorate in Applied Mathematics by the Courant Instituite – NYU; as well as a doctorate in Statistics by USP.
In addition, he is manager-partner of Riscométrica, a specialized consultancy in developing models for the financial sector, and he was Chief of Risk and Warranties Management at CETIP and worked for 13 years at B3, holding many positions, including Head of Asset Pricing and Statistical Modeling of Risks.
